Improved Foam & Spray

Whitewater effects recently gotten improved, allowing you to quickly add millions of spray and foam particles during your sim.

It’s possible now to run white water effects with dynamic foam and spray! These will generate additional particle caches (usd or alembic) to load into your rendering package.

Foam and Spray Options

It’s possible to quickly edit particle lifetime, speed and angle variances and emission thresholds. More turbulent areas will emit more particles.

Stability

The solver and tool in general got more stable and performant. Higher res simulations are possible now too!

Particle Channels And Fluid Export



Higher res and large simulations with more than 200 million fluid particles benefit from a smaller cache storage requirement.

Also more channel exports got added!
